Our Team’s Testimonials
"Because our area is so small, and we all served doing the same things, the friendships I've formed are lifelong. And getting to work with those friends everyday is so amazing!"
"One of my favorite things is helping these Sisters to understand that their mission is just as important and will impact them just as much as a 'typical' mission would. I love seeing them have that realization like I had."
"It is so easy to connect with the Sisters I work with because they are going to be doing the same things I have done. I feel like regular teachers and missionaries have that connection, but there is something a little different about this area that makes connection such a high and easy point, since their call is so unique."
"Honestly, I have loved learning more about Church history and all the historic sites and their significance as part of my job. Doesn't seem like that's something you would get anywhere else."
"There's a lot of creativity that we are allowed to have in teaching compared to some of the other areas of the MTC, since the assignment to serve in a visitors' center is very specialized and each mission within our area is different itself, it allows us to get really specific."
"We actually get to go with the Sisters up to Salt Lake occasionally to do some of their training there!"
"We only have our missionaries for a week, so we get to see and work with new missionaries all the time. Work never feels stagnant."
"It's very reminiscent of the mission, because teaching in this area feels a lot like how we taught on our mission, and so the adjustment from missionary life to what we do is so similar and I love that!"
