Intermediate/Advanced Language Teacher
Intermediate/advanced language classroom teachers help missionaries already proficient in their mission language prepare to serve. These teachers focus on helping missionaries learn and apply the missionary lessons in Preach My Gospel and develop gospel-teaching skills in the first two weeks of training. The third week of training is focused on helping missionaries learn how to improve in their language skills.
Responsibilities:
Train a group of 8-12 missionaries on PMG topics and skills
Coach missionaries in preparation for and during practice and live lessons
Plan and prepare lessons in coordination with a companion teacher
Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent teaching skills
Excellent interpersonal, prioritizing, and leadership skills are needed.
Longevity is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of "Preach My Gospel"
Self-motivated
Must be a returned missionary (home from full-time mission less than 3 years preferred)
Fluency in specified foreign language is preferred
