Graphic Designer
Graphic designer with strong typography, layout skills, color theory, and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite to create print, presentations, and online graphics for MTC products.
Responsibilities:
Reports to supervisor or manager level in the Training Department
Assists instructional designers with layout, typography, photo manipulation, and design of instruction materials.
Designs messaging for MTC information and services.
Designs booklets, brochures, and presentation graphics.
Assists in sign making and other miscellaneous projects.
Meets with developers and designers to discuss the scope and graphic requirements of projects.
May include other temporary assigned duties at the MTC (e.g. assisting with Mission Leadership Seminar)
Work 15-20 hours/week
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Portfolio demonstrating strong design and typography skills
Preferred: Major or pre-major in graphic design, arts, media arts, advertising, or other similar studies
Working knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator
Available to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
Ability to give and receive feedback
Ability to navigate Mac OSX functions
